
Perhaps one of the most recognizeable names in the field of Assistive Technology is Dr. Joy Zabala. Joy presented “The Texas Implementation Planning System (TIPS): Working Together to Make a Measureable Difference with Assistive Technology” on June 7, 2006. This presentation involved a training module developed by TATN that focused on AT Implementation. In this series of podcast interviews, Joy discusses what the TIPS system is, what difficulties we have in the area of AT implementation, and things that we should consider when implementing AT in the classroom.
